"I'm an artist based in Santiago, Chile.
A typical year for me includes some traveling and at least one basketball-related injury, but a little (sometimes not so little) pain here and there won't keep me off the court: I love this game.
I also love photography, but I think you might already know that :)
When it comes to genres, I'm mostly interested in portraits. Sometimes I like to plan them ahead carefully, but some other times I like to shoot spontaneously. In any case, if I can choose I will always prefer shooting film (yes, film!).
What I like the most about portraiture is the intensity of confronting a person to a camera and trying to get a glimpse of him/her in an image. It's a challenge and I enjoy it.
What I love the most about film is the unique feel and look it has, as well as the way it forces you to work: no shooting until the card is full and no instant previews on LCD screens makes it a more thoughtful and exciting process for me.
Apart from taking pictures, I'm known for my doodling style and my mom's brownies. Just ask any of my friends and they'll tell you."
